Warranty Period

With the purchase of a Winespot appliance, a 2-year warranty period is immediately applied starting from the date of purchase.

 

Warranty Benefits

During the warranty period, all repairs (including parts and labour) will be done free of charge for issues resulting from defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions. See below for a comprehensive list. Any damage caused due to delivery or installation will also be fully covered. This warranty policy however, does not cover accidental damage.

 

What is covered by warranty:

  • Mechanical or electrical failures due to manufacturing defects.
  • Faulty components such as compressors, cooling systems, or internal wiring.
  • Any damage caused by shipping or installation.

What is not covered:

  • Accidental damage (e.g., dropping the appliance, physical impact, or liquid spills).
  • Damage caused by misuse or neglect.
  • Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents, or discoloration) that does not affect functionality.
  • Repairs or replacements resulting from natural disasters (e.g., floods or fires).

 

Initiating a Repair Request

In the event of an issue with your unit, you can contact us at service@winespot.hk. If your unit is outside the warranty period, still feel free to contact us for a repair quote. If you have a question about repairs or product recommendations, do not hesitate to contact us either!

Upon receiving your request, we will arrange our repair technicians to inspect your unit and decide whether it can be repaired or replaced.

 

Repairing outside of Warranty

Winespot offers lifetime support for your unit. However, repairs done out of warranty will be subject to a customized quote based on the issue(s). The exact charges will be communicated upon receiving your repair request.

 

Servicing Visits

While servicing during the warranty period will be free of charge, some districts will still be subject to a location surcharge for a servicing visit. Currently, a location surcharge of HK$500 will be applied for Outlying Islands.
